Aluminum oxide crystals are most commonly used abrasive agent for the past 20 years.is the second hardest mineral besides diamond. Different following methods include mechanical abrasion from jets of zinc oxide or aluminum oxide crystals, fine organic particles, or rough surface. Particulates are removed with a wand / handpiece with which the abrasive particles come.
